Photographs of my Cat

I’m just one person with a small passion project I call, “The Rescue Pack Project”. Help me grow this into something that has a lasting impact with people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. We distribute simple care packages that contain socks, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, washcloths, sanitary wipes, and menstrual  pads – along with a laminated “cheatsheet” with contact information for L.A.-based shelters, food banks, suicide prevention centers, AA meetings, and city job boards aimed at helping the homeless get back on their feet.

We’ve also commissioned the award-winning poet, Chelsea Bayouth, who has crafted a message of love, compassion, and hope that people can come back to in moments of adrift.

The cost of a single rescue pack is only $5.33. We’ve made over 50 packs so far, but we need your help to grow this initiative even further. We will be working with local organizations to expand our reach and to bring awarenesses to the widespread homeless problem in Los Angeles, to middle-schoolers and high-schoolers alike, and to provide them with the resources to help and to connect with this sprawling city.

100% of the profits will be donated to developing new and smarter Rescue Packs along with partnering with local organizations to help realize The Rescue Pack Project as an impactful and widespread giving to people that are struggling most to survive.
